Exploring what is alive and true in our shared human experience is where my full heart and commitment live. I’m the founder of Flowland Creations and I have nearly 20 years of experience in organizing and facilitating groups, workshops, and retreats. My lifelong passion for holistic practices led to degrees at Montreal’s Concordia University (B.A. Human Relations, M.A. Human Systems Intervention), and broad continual training in practices such as: Self-inquiry, Dialogue, Somatic awareness, Contact Improv, Breathwork, Focusing, Circling, NVC, Playback Theatre, Psychodrama, and Family Constellations. I’m delighted to support deeper connections with self and others.

I love the freedom I feel when I tell the truth and connect with others speaking their truths.  I seek to bring honesty, clarity and inner peace to myself and the world.  Almost 15 years ago, I experienced an existential break-down that revealed my deep need to live an authentic life.  Since then, I have been dedicated to knowing myself, sharing my gifts, and learning how to honour, respect and celebrate those around me.  I am an experienced teacher and educator, skilled facilitator, caring mentor, dedicated spiritual seeker and more recently a proud and loving family man.  I co-founded Authentic Montreal and am grateful and excited to bring AR-GO into your life!

As an educator, coach and consultant, my goal is to co-create relationships where people feel deeply seen and heard.

In my more than two decades of dedication to studying human nature, I have facilitated embodied experiences in authentic communication, team building, trust building, conflict management, leadership, strategy development, change management, and vision and values alignment.

I love walking along-side of individuals and groups to cultivate the power of self-reflection, compassion and empathy as it nurtures a culture and community of trust, kindness and connection.

I am excited to be a part of AR-GO to continue spreading loving connections in the world!

Maya Dion

Maya’s greatest desire in life has always been to heal the Earth. Unexpectedly perhaps, that path led her to recognize her own need to go within and heal from the inside out. Her path of self-discovery led her to becoming certified in  Focusing and practicing Authentic Movement and other authenticity-based practices for the last 8 years. This has allowed her to emerge more and more into this world to accompany others on their journey of discovering their unique contribution as she guides them to rediscover their wholeness in her practice as a trauma-informed holistic therapist and homeopath.

Maya sees spaces like AR-GO as being fundamental to the recovery of our sense of belonging through connection and community. By creating safe spaces, it allows us to risk being ourselves in front of others while responding to our urgent need to connect in non-judgmental, respectful, welcoming ways. What a blessing for her to have found AR-GO and have the opportunity to host the events that contribute to her own growth as a leader, while also making the magic and joy of connection that heal and nourish our hearts and souls available to others.

Lucie Marcoux

Every day, Lucie commits to learning and to nurrishing what is alive.

A capacity building ninja, Lucie never ceases to marvel at the mechanisms by which humans learn and transform - or get stuck. Having cracked the code of how adults develop their skills and change at work, she sets up dojos to practice new ways of getting out of ruts and working together. Lucie’s  practice is supported by her Masters in Human Systems Intervention , Going Horizontal (a self management approach), as well as more than 20 years of intervention in organizations.

Pam Holbrook

I’m passionate about connecting with others with more awareness and acceptance. I discovered AR-Go during the pandemic and felt deeply nourished and supported. The structured and loving container was the perfect practice place for me to grow new skills. As my way of showing up for myself and others shifted, my relationships began to transform. A sense of ease and freedom created new possibilities to unfold.

As a neural retraining coach, laughter yoga instructor and energy healer I bring a delicious blend of deep somatic wisdom and lightheartedness to my events. I love holding space while listening for the magic to unfold in and and between participants. I’m honored and privileged to now host these events. Seeing the ripple effect of sharing Authentic Relating with the world brings me joy!

I am an explorer of the Living, from cells to social behaviours! I have developed a passion for wisdoms neglected in western societies: bodily, emotional and relational intelligences. My skills and experience range from years of scientific research and teaching to the facilitation of restorative circles, authentic relating and intimacy workshops, as well as somatic explorations  during movement improvisation. Here, my intention is to explore with you new ways to be present to what we feel. To reveal and welcome what is alive in us and between us. My style of facilitation is gentle yet engaged, which enables rich co-explorations. I look forward to connecting with you!

As you read this, for one moment a fragment of your life touches a fragment of mine. That’s kind of magic. I’m passionate about those moments of connection, especially those rare ones where my humanity recognizes yours directly. I think the world needs that, perhaps now more than ever. How do these moments happen, how they can happen more, and more deeply? And what’s the stuff that sometimes gets in the way? Whether I was aware of it or not my life has revolved around these questions, on a winding path through a landscape of exotic things like cognitive science and linguistics, neuroscience, Tibetan Buddhism, music, theatre, and nonviolent communication. I currently teach and research psychology at University of Montreal.

As a kid, my favourite game on road trips was making eye contact with strangers in the cars next to us on the highway. A few decades later, and that's still an apt image to describe the essence of who I am: a person who feels most alive in moments of seeing and being seen, however brief and fleeting they may be. To this end, my deepest longing is to be a force for creating experiences of empathy, intimacy, and radical curiosity between all human beings—across all of our differences, similarities, and glorious idiosyncracies.

In 2016, I discovered the Authentic Relating Toronto (ART) community and was hooked—first as a participant, and eventually, as a leader and organizer within the community. Between 2018-2020, I lovingly spearheaded biweekly ART Connection Labs, and in 2019, I became an assistant course leader with Realness Project (RP): a non-profit delivering Authentic Relating workshops to incarcerated individuals. Outside of the AR world, I am a Masters student in Peace and Conflict Studies; a restorative justice volunteer with Community Justice Initiatives and MCC; and an avid lover of trees, cookie dough, poetry, and paradoxes.

My Truth: Love is sacred and divine. Love is connection to all beings. Love is healing. Love is ALL.

Initiative/Culture: By taking the leap into my higher calling (Authentic Relating), I attract the frequency of Innovation and Innocence.  I honor and value Truth, Creativity, Simplicity, and Purity.  I create the space, the invitation to explore child-like curiosity and JOY in my Authentic Relating circles and events.

Growth/Brand: Refining my style of communication so that it suits my inner being.  I create the space for others to be authentic, themselves, without the aggression of wanting anything to change.  To witness the perfection of others.  To allow the other to be expressed and to receive them fully.  To fully reveal my inner heart, to facilitate groups with Humor and Pleasure.  To live my TRUTH – Love is everything.

Right now, in the unfolding story-of-us on this planet, it is making sense to me to care-fully observe what I am sensing, feeling, thinking… to grow my capacity to dance with pulsing complexity, perpetual uncertainty, and hone my ability to look through a kaleidoscope of lenses that alters the view (and telling) of the story itself.

Having emerged (partly) from a culture designed to systemically demand answers & results, I sometimes doubt this deep sense-making.  And so I refocus… nurture a web of people and practice that nurtures me/us to learn this delicate dance.  This is why I am here.

I envision a world where everyone experiences true freedom, inner freedom. This is a freedom from the traps inside our own minds and emotions. Developing this in me first, I have practiced meditation since 2005, studied Eckhart Tolle, Gandhi, Carl Rogers, and MLK, and taken the challenge to look inside and be honest about what I see. The fruits can be seen in the opportunities I've had to facilitate AR and circling in Portland from 2012-2015 and in co-founding Authentic Montreal, one of the most successful AR (authentic relating) communities in the world. Yet, in me, inner freedom is still being developed.
